I loved your prezi! You can tell that the group put a lot of work into it. The hard work definitely paid off! I also think the videos were presented very well. The speaker spoke clearly and at a steady pace. Proud of you guys!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mishele! This semester was certainly a time of learning for our group. We all gained valuable practice with the blog, learned how to make videos. It has been a busy semester, but one in which we learned some valuable technology skills, as well as learning about various theories of adult learning.
ReplyDeleteGroup 5,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your presentation. I have been enjoying what you have done since the program design phase. I really like Prezi as a demonstration platform and I feel like your group really utilized the site. I thought that the videos through the presentation were well organized and provided a great way to summarize your program design and final demonstration. It seems like these videos were practiced and really thought out! I liked how you talked about the communication aspect of working in a group. This is what I believe to be the most important step to creating a good group. If you don't communicate you will not succeet and it seems that your group really thrived in the communication aspect. Great demonstration group 5!

I love your works in general especially the communications to work as online group

Nice job on your final demonstration. I loved the use of Prezi. The speaker was clear and well-paced, but the volume was a little low. I would have liked to know whose voice I was hearing, and maybe get a little snippet of other voices as well.
ReplyDeleteI thought your survival memo was very good. It was good advise for someone to look ahead at the syllabus and match it to their work and personal calendars and to take on bigger roles in weeks that were not so crowded personally and/or professionally. I would agree that it is important to choose a topic you care about. I also agree that you definitely learn from the others on your team. I would not have thought about vetting potential team members by reviewing their posts on the discussion board, but it is a good way to get an idea of someone's style and whether or not you can work with them. I think having chocolate on hand is always good advice.
Congratulations on finishing your project!
Heather
Group 5,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching and hearing your presentation. Prezi is a unique tool to use over PowerPoint. The best part about Prezi in my opinion is that it zooms in for the picture or information you put on your slides. PowerPoint doesn't let you do that. The audio was clear and well understood. Congrats on making it to the finish line with such a great project! You should all be proud of yourselves!
Kimberly, Kylie, Mandy, Laverne, Marti,
ReplyDeleteThis is a very comprehensive presentation! I really like that you embedded several videos in this presentation! I like that you provided the detailed descriptions of what are required for the assignments in text and how your group did your assignments in videos! I like your detailed suggestions for future students and that you added the link of your blog to your presentation!
I agree with Heather’s comments that the speakers’ voices were clear and well-paced. When I first heard your voice, I thought that you selected a video from YouTube created by professionals. It turned out that you created the videos! The quality of the videos is very impressive! I agree with Heather’s suggestion about telling your readers about who were talking in the videos.

Good Evening Group 5,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your Prezi, I think you all did a great job of actually incorporating your program's topic, narrative learning, into your presentations! This was a great of showing how you all have learned through this project. The videos were great, I have to agree with Bo that your videos were very well put together. It shows that you all worked great together throughout the project using each group members strengths to the success of this demonstration. It was a fun and accurate depiction of what is expected. Great job!
